Hay Fell Signal Box
The TPE 802s make an occasional change from the procession of Pendolinos and TPE 397s that operate most passenger services north of Oxenholme. 802217 is still accelerating away from the Oxenholme stop as it approaches the site of Hay Fell signal box with a Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service on 29th March 2023. Some of Kendal's houses can be seen in the distance above the train but most of the town is hidden in the valley, served by trains on the Windermere branch.
