Whitrope Siding
The elements at Whitrope are taking their toll on the Waverley stock there. 26040 no longer has the pristine look it had on arrival 57267 and the more recently delivered Pacers are also looking weather beaten. However, there is a work programme that is restoring the Type 2 and a start has been made on repainting 142020, seen here, in Tyne and Wear livery. This view looks south from the site entrance in February 2023.
