Burnley Central
The 1964 building at Burnley Central was installed in a much larger two track station, previously known as Bank Top, and now looks out of place on the single surviving platform. For the time being however it remains staffed on weekday mornings. The population of Burnley is just over 73,000 but anything larger than a two-coach Sprinter will not fit in the stopping area of Central's platform. 150108 pulls away heading to Colne on 22nd December 2022.
