Burnley Central

View looking south from a Sprinter crossing Burnley Viaduct as it climbs from Burnley Central See image 23301 to Burnley Barracks in December 2019. In the centre is the River Calder, although immediately beyond the road bridge is the confluence of that watercourse and the River Brun. The viaduct once carried a busy double track main line to Skipton but now only sees the hourly DMU on the single track siding between Rose Grove (Gannow Junction) and Colne.
