Scottish Maritime Museum

ASR-10 and RNLI TGB in the forecourt of the Scottish Maritime Museum at Irvine in 1998. The former was a 'Ocean Hostel'; a World War 2 place of safety for downed aircraft crews, should they manage to reach it. The latter, an RNLI vessel, was of a very unfortunate design which would not right after a capsize, this particular boat was involved in the Longhope disaster.
