Ferguslie Viaduct

Plenty of action at Linwood Toll on 26 March 1964. A Pickfords low-loader, a scrapyard (tidied up when the railway bridge was rebuilt in 1962), a bit of roadworks by a red compressor, and a DMU on fire heading west for Elderslie station. The culprit was a Cravens unit (SC 51489) which was leading a Gloucester one. Photograph taken from Ferguslie station with the viaduct off camera to the right.
