Ferguslie Viaduct
Bad news for three Fairburn tanks heading for the scrapyard as they pass over Linwood Road, between Elderslie and Paisley Gilmour Street, on 10 September 1963. 42191, 42193 and 42203 had all been withdrawn at Ardrossan Shed, which was still the home for 45463, the Black 5 towing the them. The vehicle scrapyard below was not a good omen! [Ferguslie Viaduct is out of shot off to the right.]
