Haymarket MPD
Ethel 97250 was an exhibit at Haymarket Depot Open Day on 24 August 1985. The three 'Electric Train Heating Ex Locomotives' were converted from withdrawn Class 25s around 1982 to be hauled by steam heat Class 37s while providing power for air-conditioned sleeper services until the ETH Class 37/4s became available. They became redundant, and were scrapped, in the early 1990s.
