Ellesmere Port
508139 in Platform 1 at Ellesmere Port with the 15.42 circular departure back to here via Liverpool Central. Platform 2 cannot be used by EMUs as it is not electrified. Currently there is only the Ellesmere Port trains which have a 30 minute service during the day, everywhere else being every 15 minutes. This was not the case back in June when many of the units suffered from Wheel Bearing issues. This is thought to have been caused by the new power supply introduced in readiness for the Class 777 units.
