Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port station building is still staffed and there is a half hourly Merseyrail service via Hooton and Birkenhead to Liverpool. 507028 waits in the one platform with third rail as the other is only used for trains to Helsby. The passenger service through Stanlow & Thornton and Ince & Elton is pretty abysmal, comprising just two early morning and two mid afternoon trains although there are some freight services too.
