Church and Oswaldtwistle
150120, on a Colne to Preston stopper, accelerates away from Church and Oswaldtwistle and crosses the Leeds and Liverpool Canal near the site of Aspen Colliery (closed c1930). The colliery was canal served and there is a disused basin to the left of the towpath at this point. This view looks east on 5th September 2022.
