Fareham

10th June 1963, and Eastleigh's Standard 4MT 2-6-4T 80065 is pottering about the goods yard in Fareham. Shortly it will spring into action, detach the coaches from the Portsmouth to Fareham train (brought in by U-Class 2-6-0 31793) , draw them back onto the spur of the Gosport line, and then attach them to the rear of the Brighton to Plymouth train headed by rebuilt West Country 34027 'Taw Valley'. It will then return to do some further pottering.
