Selkirk Junction

Looking north over the site of Selkirk Junction, a mile south of Galashiels station, in February 2015, during the latter stages of construction work on the Borders Railway. The abutment of the bridge that once carried the Selkirk branch over the Gala Water survives centre left. Trains would start running through here some 4 months later on crew training trips between Newcraighall and Tweedbank.
