Ridgmont
A community group has restored the station building at Ridgmont from near derelict condition to create a splendid small museum and a tea shop. Wednesday to Sunday this makes an excellent stop off point by Junction 13 of the M1. This is the former ticket office but the station building also acted as the signal box for many years, albeit with an outside lever frame, protecting the level crossing.
