Acting on information received, m'lud, I detected 230004 on the 16.09 to Bedford at the aforementioned station. Further detective work yielded the intelligence that the 16.20 to Bletchley would be a 153, so I fled the scene to get home ASAP (notice the stationary truck on the M1 in the background; it was a long journey). I overheard a passenger complaining that an 06.20 service had been cancelled - the 230s may be in the 'bedding in' phase. Notice the shiny metal window frame where a centre door pair has been removed.
