Morecambe Promenade
The staircase of the art deco Midland Hotel, opened by the LMS at Morecambe in 1933. It closed in the 1990s and became semi-derelict but was bought by developers Urban Splash and, after a full refurbishment, reopened in 2008. Art-deco features abound inside and outside this wonderful building.
