Buckshaw Parkway
TPE 802s now make a couple of trips a day from Edinburgh to Manchester Airport on the WCML. This breaks up the post electrification monotony of 331s and 397s between Euxton Junction and Bolton. Seen from the station footbridge, 802210 approaches Buckshaw Parkway heading north on 13th July 2022. The signal and the crossover behind the train allow services to reverse here when the line beyond Euxton Junction is closed for any reason, but in normal operations all trains run through to Preston and beyond.
