Adlington [Lancashire]
TPE 397012 hurries through Adlington with a Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central service on 13th July 2022. The small ticket office seen here is still staffed at present. Most services through here start at the airport or Hazel Grove but, since electrification, there is now a once daily through train (at 0629) from Stoke-on-Trent to Blackpool, giving the opportunity to travel from Adlington (Cheshire) to Adlington (Lancashire) without changing trains - if that sort of thing floats your boat.
