DC Rail Cargo 60029 southbound from Oxford Banbury Sidings to Machen Quarry passes through Oxford on 29th June 2022 as a Turbo DMU calls at the station. Reporting No. 6Z52. Oxford's new Platform 5 is in the later planning stages and will be open for traffic in early 2024. Perhaps this might include electrification from Didcot to Oxford.
