Oxford
To cater for, the expected passenger numbers when the rebuilt Oxford to Cambridge line is completed, Oxford's Platform 4 is to be spilt in two and a Platform 5 created. A new rail over road bridge will be installed and a fair amount of platform structures demolished including a piece of the local YMCA. Work was supposed to start around now but the local Council have asked for a delay! Chiltern Railways 165035 arrived from London Marylebone on 19th January 2023, entering the refurbished LNWR/LMSR platforms.
