Cherry Tree
The first Fellsman of 2022 ran on 18th May behind rebuilt West Country pacific 34046 Braunton, seen approaching Cherry Tree with the outward run. This year the train runs from Crewe to Chester before reversing and heading to Carlisle via the S&C. In the tree line on the left is the trackbed of the former Lancashire Union line that ran from here to Chorley via Heapey.
