Balgreen [Tram]
Looking east from the site of Balgreen station on the former Corstorphine branch in September 2009 with a westbound train passing on the E&G main line. Balgreen tram stop will be constructed here, with the tram route ahead utilising the old branch trackbed for a further 200 yards. The crossing of Balgreen Road beyond the palisade fence will require a new raised bridge resulting in a pronounced hump on the tram route (see image 48061).
