Midge Hall
A view across the tracks at Pages UWC on the Preston to Ormskirk line, to the south of Midge Hall. The crossing has been supplemented with POGO, power operated gate opener so that the road user only has to use the phone to contact the SB that supervises the crossing and then if permission to cross has been granted, press a button on the adjacent post for the gates to open. Once across the road user presses the button again to close the gates.
