Fairburn 2-6-4 tank No 42266 looks very smart as it departs from Greenock Ladyburn shed on 29 February 1964 in order to head the 4.10pm train from Gourock to Glasgow. The friendly driver gave me the thumbs up as they headed off! 42266 was one of the Fairburns exchanged with Fowler 2-6-4 tanks in early 1954.
