Greenock Ladyburn Shed
1963 started with temperatures close to or below zero for the first three months. At Greenock Ladyburn shed on 23 February 1963, and still in the grip of a very cold winter, Fowler 2F 0-6-0 Dock Tank 47163 and Fairburn 4MT 2-6-4T 42175 have turned their wheels for the last time, as indeed has Caley 4-4-0 54506 (visible in the background). 42175 was the first of Ladyburn's Fairburns to be withdrawn.
