Centenary commemorated. In recognition of the amalgamation of the Lancashire & Yorkshire and London & North Western Railways on 1 January 1922 the East Lancashire Railway rostered the venerable L&Y locos 0-6-0 52322 and 0-6-0ST 51456 for service on 1 January 2022. The pair are seen on home territory approach Rawtenstall West hauling the 13:00 ex Bury Bolton Street.
