Loanhead
The surfaced path between Roslin and Loanhead, built on the trackbed of the EL&R, was extended north beyond the former Loanhead station in 2011. This 2021 view shows the meeting point of the original path and the northern extension. The old Loanhead station building still stands alongside. Note the roundel on top of the signpost which refers to what is now The Rosslyn Chapel Way. (With thanks to Messrs Brown and da Vinci).
