St Pancras International

High Speed Javelin unit just emerged from tunnel and approaching St. Pancras International over the bridge across York Way, that opened in November 2007 when HS 1 services were transferred from Waterloo. This view is through the front upstairs windows of a New Routemaster bus on route 390 to Archway on 23rd September 2021. Another New Routemaster (which are nothing like the traditional Routemasters of old), also on route 390 to Victoria, can be seen in the background about to pass beneath the bridge. This once bleak area north of King's Cross has now changed out of all recognition with not only HS 1 but new towering office blocks and flats.
