Silvertown
Class 345 unit on Crossrail test run to Abbey Wood heading away from the camera past the site of Silvertown station, on 13th July 2021. The line uses part of the old North Woolwich branch at this location. That closed in 2006 and the train has just emerged from the revamped Connaught Tunnel. However, we Londoners are still waiting for the line to open, originally scheduled for December 2018. (For the same view in 2008 see image 18429).
