Looking north from the 'Tay Forth Venturer' railtour, on 16 June 1984, towards the closed Lurgi Gas Plant. Opened in 1961, it produced gas from poor quality coal supplied by the neighbouring Westfield Opencast Mine, supplemented by liquefied gas brought in by rail.
