Newcraighall South Junction
A morning service on the Borders line approaching Newcraighall station from the Shawfair direction in the summer of 2017. The train has just entered the single line section at Newcraighall South Junction and is about to pass the recently lifted turnback siding, once used by trains terminating at Newcraighall. In the background is the Biogen Recycling plant and, beyond that, construction work is underway on the new Recycling and Energy Recovery Centre.
