Redford Barracks Branch Canal Bridge

After the Redford Barracks construction branch crossed the Union Canal (out of sight, left distance) it turned sharply southwest. The line would have been lifted 20 years before suburban housing first appeared here, but surprisingly perhaps the old cutting at this point was left as a gap in the houses. It remains discernable to this day.
