Bournemouth
Unrebuilt Bulleid West Country Pacific 34038 'Lynton', with steam sanders in use, is seen starting out from Bournemouth Station heading for London Waterloo Station on 27 August 1965. The loco looks a tad tired, with a section of top casing missing, and it was withdrawn from service in June the following year. It was cut up at Cashmore's in Newport in September that year, exactly 20 years to the month from when it entered service.
