Lyne Viaduct

Lyne Viaduct seen from the south west in 1997. Since the photograph was taken the undergrowth has grown somewhat, a telephone pole erected and fence replaced by a dry stane dyke. It is a particularly fine viaduct with crosses carved deeply into the stonework, like that closer to Peebles (Neidpath Viaduct), presumably to keep a landowner happy.
