It wasn't just the through platform area that was modified after the railway moved out of Granton Gasworks. The footbridge from the top level was removed and the arch largely bricked up. Steps were built to a new front door on the lower level; tracks previously ran right alongside the building on this side. The gas lamp columns are obviously a more recent 'heritage' addition.
