Granton Gasworks [Station]
Site of Granton Gasworks in 2006, with the Edinburgh & Leith Gas Commissioners 1902 station building and platform still intact. The line ran alongside the wall through what was originally an open structure (now bricked up at both ends), with the platform connected by an internal stairway to the upper level. From there a footbridge spanned the sidings to access the works and offices off to the left. The new Scottish Gas HQ stands in the background beyond the station. See image 10312
