Appleby East
Looking south along what was by then the Warcop branch at Appleby East in 1981. This was originally the Stainmore through route until cut back to Warcop for military traffic, although this ceased in 1989. Eden Valley heritage services now run part way from Warcop but have not yet reached the goal of Appleby.
