NRM Shildon

I quote from the museum placard: In 1840, Queen Adelaide, Princess of Saxe-Meiningen, widow of King William IV of England and aunt to the recently crowned Queen Victoria, made a tour of the northern provinces of England by rail. She was the first monarch of England to use this technology. Nice livery; but a bit of a contrast to the APT on the left.
