A North Berwick to Edinburgh service pulls into Longniddry on 25th July 2020. Until the 1920s Longniddry was nothing but a ^clachan^, as it was described, and the John Menzies on the station was the only shop it had. It perhaps only got a station in the first place because it was a junction; it became a commuter magnet later on.
