Oxenholme Lake District

TPE 185150 loads another set of passengers for Windermere in the back platform at Oxenholme on 7th July 2016. At this time masts were being erected for the electrification of the branch. This was later abandoned with a proposal to use hybrid Class 769 units (Class 319 EMUs with underfloor diesel engines) instead. However, in 2020, there is talk again of wiring the branch - time will tell.
