Niddrie North Junction [Lothian Lines]
Course of the Lothian Lines 'main' line seen looking north on the approach to Niddrie North Junction. There was no level crossing here as the street didn't exist when the line closed. In a bit of a boob the Gilberstoun estate was still at the planning stage when it first appeared on Bartholomew's Edinburgh Street Guide. Goes to show that phantom streets predate satnav. Photographed incidental to my daily exercise permitted under emergency coronavirus legislation.
