Niddrie North Junction [Lothian Lines]
The single line between Niddrie North and Wanton Walls Junction see image 1404 originally passed through open countryside. Nowadays, in addition to the advent of Brunstane, further housing developments have since taken place. About a third of the way along the route a bridge once crossed the line. Part of the Gilberstoun housing development now occupies this area, with the road through the old formation named Gilberstoun Brig. View is south east along the trackbed towards Wanton Walls Junction on 15 July 2018.
