We are midway along the course of the branch, looking towards the junction at Gorgie. There were three tracks; that wall across the path was a later addition. A road on the right used to come right up to the line on the now grassed area and there was a footbridge, but no level crossing as there was then no road on the other side. Photographed incidental to my daily exercise permitted under emergency coronavirus legislation.
