Dalston Kingsland

In the last couple of months of the Silverlink regime, 313116 for Stratford departs from Dalston Kingsland station, on 6th September 2007. The line was taken over the following November by Transport for London and re-christened London Overground. This station was opened in 1985 on the site of the former Kingsland station that lasted only from 1850 to 1865, when it was replaced by Dalston Junction on the NLR's branch to its City terminus at Broad Street. This closed in 1986 but a new Dalston Junction on the same site was opened in April 2010 when the Broad Street branch was partially reopened as an extension of the London Overground and linked by a new section of track at Shoreditch to the former London Underground East London Line.
