Dalston Kingsland

One of several similar signs intended for drivers of Silverlink class 313 dual voltage EMUs operating on the North London Line in the summer of 2005. This one is on the westbound platform at Dalston Kingsland station just before Boleyn Road bridge. Because of the mix of traction current supplies on the Richmond - North Woolwich route at that time drivers were required to switch between third rail and overhead systems at four locations along the route (others being Hackney Wick, Camden Road and Acton Central).
