Finchley Central

LUL 1995 stock on a Northern Line service to Kennington (via Charing Cross) arriving at Finchley Central station, on the glorious afternoon of Saturday, 14th September 2019. This station was opened as part of the Edgware, Highgate & London Railway on 22nd July 1867 as Finchley & Hendon and renamed Finchley (Church End) sometime in 1870. It became Finchley Central on 1st April 1940 when Northern Line tube trains were extended over newly-electrified ex-LNER tracks to High Barnet.
