Auldhouseburn Junction

Auldhouseburn Junction seen in 1999 looking to the junction from the trackbed of the never opened line to Coalburn. Note the red brick structure, this is the base of the signal box which also never opened. The junction was installed in 1898 and taken out in 1911. The threat of the G&SW seeking running powers stopped the line from opening. Crossflat Farm is in the background.
