Preston Riverside
A new diesel shed has been constructed by the Ribble Steam Railway, sitting alongside the line between the station and bitumen sidings. At the 2018 autumn diesel gala this led to a small procession of locos making their way down to the station ahead of the day's duties. Class 05 D2595 is moving to stable alongside the platform while Dutch Class 11 NS 663 and Class 03 D2148 are heading to the carriage shed for the MkI rake.
