Larbert Junction

It's all downhill from here... A ScotRail Aberdeen - Glasgow Queen Street service turns south west at Larbert Junction in the spring of 2015. The train is starting the descent towards Carmuirs West Junction, beyond which the line drops still further before passing below the Forth and Clyde Canal. One of the canal's notable features, the Falkirk Wheel, is visible through the haze in the background.
