Summerseat
The East Lancashire Class 40s at 60 gala ran from 13th to 15th April 2018 and featured six of the seven survivors, with five being operational. Here, immaculate 40012 Aureol approaches Summerseat station heading for Bury with a morning train. The last time I saw this loco was in 1985 when it was briefly in departmental service before final withdrawal See image 23791
